bigAPE Development are proud to release our Site Backup component for the Mambo Content Management System.
Background
During the management of several Mambo sites we
came across the need to archive the entire Mambo file system and database
archive into a single compressed archive.
Solution
We have attempted to use existing
Mambo API features where possible and have implemented a basic full site backup
system. The component does not have a client facing interface and all
functionality is managed through the administration screens.
The component has been developed to
be as simple to use as possible.
Compatibility
We have tested this component
against the following Mambo configurations:
- Linux,
Apache, MySQL
- Windows
XP/2000/2003, Apache, MySQL
- Windows
XP/2000/2003, IIS, MySQL
- Mac OSX, Apache, MySQL
- Mambo v4.5.1 (untested with v4.5)

bigAPE Development are proud to release our PayPal Button module.
Background Several
clients have approached with the desire to sell products and accept
donations on their site without having to enter into complex merchant
agreements with banks and clearing houses. We suggested that PayPal may
meet their requirements. After examining the PayPal modules available,
we determined that these were incomplete and decided to continue with
the development gradually adding more and more functionality from the
PayPal HTTP API
Solution We decided to attempt to
recreate the vast majority of the configuration options available in
the Button API and make them available as properties in the Mambo
Administration screens

The next generation in fully integrated component based business management software.
Named
after our component and security framework, AXIS provides a feature
rich knowledge management solution which scales to support the
requirements of most organisations.
AXIS is an
implementation of reliable integrated business applications. Consisting
of an Asset Management component, a Call Logging CRM component, a
Knowledge Base component and a Library Management component. While each
component will function independently of the other, when they are
combined they create a complex interwoven reporting structure. Objects
within the system can be interlinked to create knowledge chains that
offer transparent navigation for the user. |

Sentinel has been completely rebuilt and redesigned to take advantage of Microsoft’s .NET Framework.
Sentinel
has been completely written in pure C#. However we do not expect our
clients to do the same. Sentinel Applications can now be written in
either C#, Visual Basic, J# or C++. In fact, Sentinel Applications can
be created in any language supported by the .NET framework
Sentinel is lightweight, requires no native database support and can manage several custom Applications per installation. |
